About Butadyl®
  • Butadyl® is a modified carboxylated acrylonitrile butadine compound developed by polymerizing butadine, acrylonitrine, and methacrylonitrile. Additional polymers are added to reach our unique formula.
  • Butadyl® is a new polymer conceived to address the ever changing needs of glove box work.
  • The United States Patent Office (USPTO) has recently approved Butadyl® as a registered trademark.

WHAT IS BUTADYL®?

  • Increased stretching, bending ability and tear strenght.
  • Very effective when vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) is present.
  • Offer strong resistence to aromatics, hydrocarbons, solvents, fats, and acids.

WHY USE BUTADYL®?

Butadyl has been proven to be resistant to nine different cyto toxic chemicals
under ASTM D6978.
